Badass Capital is a systematic firm. We model, price, trade, and manage risk across three domains connected by a common thread — markets where participants trade on beliefs, and where superior information and execution still produce a persistent structural edge.

The firm is founder-led and operated, independently capitalized at launch, and purpose-built to move quickly between strategies as opportunities emerge.

/A · SPORTS BETTING
Our belief is that sports = math, and that the best edge is obtained by going deep into specific sports and bet types using heavy analytics. We've incorporated the founder's years of sports betting experience into repeatable quantitative models to go up against sportsbooks, exchanges, prediction market makers, and P2P contest players.
/B · TRADFI & CRYPTO TRADING
The fund blends medium-term swing trading, momentum-driven scalp trading, and rotation between assets as conditions change. Our models and agents handle all research, trade alerts, and analysis.
/C · PREDICTION MARKETS
Prediction market trading includes the aforementioned sports betting, tradfi, and crypto trades when appropriate, but it also includes other markets like econ and politics. These markets allow us to be either the maker or the taker, depending on the market, liquidity, and cost profile. Hedging using prediction market event contracts is also a prominent strategy.

Founder & Managing Partner

Mark is a serial founder and operator with a background spanning consumer and enterprise technology, gaming, trading, real estate, and staffing. He co-founded and led Reesio, a real estate SaaS platform acquired by Realtor.com (News Corp), and also co-founded ZenSports, a licensed sportsbook operator acquired by VIP Play. At ZenSports, Mark held Nevada and Tennessee gaming licenses as the principal operator and key person — regulatory experience that is directly relevant to sports betting and prediction markets.

Other firms founded by Mark include a real estate investment fund, Mark Thomas Realty, and an executive staffing firm, Thomas Executive Resources (acquired).
